| The rise of contemporary popular culture is a remarkable phenomenon in China. By discussing the rapid development of Chinese contemporary popular culture, this paper elucidates the impulsive effects exerted by postmodernist context, and interprets the positive and negative effects on humanism's promotion, and finally makes suggestions on how to promote humanism in contemporary popular culture.This paper consists of three parts, including foreword, text and epilogue.Foreword: To point out that the emphasis of this paper is about the evolution of contemporary popular culture in postmodernist context.Chapter 1: "The rise of Chinese contemporary popular culture".
