The anti-corruption novel is a new perspective of literature appeared in the 1990s. This paper analyzes it mainly from the reason of its rise and prosperity, observation and criticism on corruption, also from how to build the text. It carries on criticizing the creation of the anti-corruption novel.The first part discusses the reason why the anti-corruption novel rises and grows prosperity. The appearance of the anti-corruption novel and 'anti-corruption' current politics of the Chinese society have direct relations, it is the utility writing under the political demand for at the historic moment. Anti-corruption novel reflects mainstream ideology, according with 'Main Melody' spirit, also satisfying the demand of mass culture consumption, adding the interdynamic effect with the movie & TV media, its tendency of growing prosperity is inevitable.The second part discusses the anti-corruption novel's three-ply observing on corruption and it's criticizing. Writers place corruption phenomenon under power relation, family relation, and the sexual relation between men and women to observe. From this three-ply observing, it distinguishes itself from other writing. It also criticizes 'official standard' consciousness and the collusion between officers and traders.The third part expounds how the anti-corruption novel constructs text to narrate. Through disassembling the anti-corruption text of sample novel, it is easy to find that anti-corruption novel builds and constructs the text mainly with event, conflict, honest and upright official and cost to narrate the anti-corruption.The fourth part criticizes the creation of the anti-corruption novel. The anti-corruption novel is a kind of political text standing in the official position consciously, written by the intellectual who have been abandoned by the political society. The enormous commercial interest makes the writers' 'anti-corruption phenomenon' ambiguous and unclear. It cannot break through the existing narration mode due to such reasons as the writer's writing position, the restriction of political tolerable degree.
