According to the visual angle of the region and the culture, the thesis tries to find out their works' value basis, theoretical basis, and the appreciation of the beauty, for the purpose of providing some valuable reference and inspiration on Chinese modern literature. In the light of the literature change under new situation, the thesis also tries to point out their works' limitation and find out the possible way of further opening up and transcending. Of all the studies on the writers of Henan province, there are many on a certain single writer, but few on a group, in such a sense, the thesis may have some constructive value.The author firstly demonstrates the writers of Henan province as a concept, which consists of a very important foothold for the whole thesis. Although the writers of Henan province is not a strictly standard literary concept, the author produces enough material and theories. Whether in the view of their identity and integrate, or in the view of the subjective and objective basis for their success, the writers of Henan province occupy an important place in modern literal structure. And then in Section Two, the author abstracts and summarizes four primary factors of their works' quality and style. Though it isn't absolutely authentic and comprehensive, the author insists that the viewpoint stands on a solid foundation, so it is tenable. And the author also hopes to have a further interchange and inquiry with the research workers on this region.The form of a group's quality and style depends on each writer's artistic practice, so in Section Three, the thesis chooses three representative writers Yan Lianke, Liu Zhenyun and Li Peifu, analyzing their works' distinct artistic style. And the author hopes to show how region culture affects the writers' works. As space is limited, manyother important writers, such as Zhang Yu, Zhou Daxin, Liu Qingbang, can't be taken into account, the author wants to have a further study on these writers later on.In the last chapter, the thesis points out some limitation and shortcomings that exist in the works of the writers of Henan province, and puts forward some possible ways to overcome their shortcomings. Generally speaking, closing to the object of study can provide much convenience, but at the same time, it often causes a certain degree fetters, such as can't clearly keep an eye on the object of study, easy to beautify them and don't want to further probe their works' limitation and shortcomings.
