He is just like a riotous smart, who persist in exploration and innovation towards art in many aspects. This essay will elobrate on his naughty mentality, civilian attachment and pioneer consciousness so as to examine Mo Yan's novels' creation mentality, characteristic, breakthrough, achievement and his novels' limitation.In his novels, the naughty mentality refers to the mentality of a child who experiences many sufferings, but remains naive, upright and undaunted. It is a kind of irremovable suffering complex. This kind of mentality permeating with civilian consciousness and pioneer consciousness manifests itself as a certain kind of aesthetics consciousness, peep desire and strong self-respect mentality. The author reflects an naughty's way of profane and destruction desires. When he depicts these children's mentalities, which brings out the loss of the ways of philosophical thinking about ugliness and beauty.Mo Yan roots firmly in civilian reality by means of showing his resolute and profound civilian attachment and his stand to write for the civilians.
