Kafka who was respected as the ancestor of the West Modern literature showed his own life and soul by a special living style. In his eyes, life is writing and writing is also life. A new and astonishing world was constructed by his writings. Although he said that writing was absolutly the need of expressing his mind, in some degree, the worlds in his mind and out are the same. Although his mind life was liking dreaming , there is no need of searching for it in reality , because his life itself was like dreaming ,too. So autobiography was the most important character of his writings. Kafka's writings were stamped by living , such as family, marrige and career. So, understanding his life is the key to understand his writings. Kafka's writings showed his attitude toward the world. Kafka didn't want to give a meaning of the world, so didn't change; by constrast, he gave some clues of the world's drawbacks and summon on people surpassing it. It is the summon and surpass that another very important character of Kafka's writings. This paper can be divided into three parts, which made some thinkings and surpassing respectively.
