It is generally believed that they are the cream of historical books of Han dynasty. Studying the distinction between Shiji and Hanshu is a traditional academic subject. Comparing Shiji and Hanshu beginning from Zhangfu and Fuxuan is a very important part of the study of the two books later. It is believed that Hanshu takes advantage over Shiji before Tang dynasty. But People believe that Shiji is better than Hanshu since Tang dynasty. However It is wrong that criticizing something without reasons and only by individual opinion. As a popular saying goes, every thing has two sides .Hanshu has its own disadvantages. But Hanshu sets up a complete system of Jlzhuan style about the history of a dynasty and becomes another import milestone of Chinese history. Although Bangu used the content of Shiji ,We can not believe that Hanshu copied Shiji. Author believes that Bangu used the content of Shiji according to some principles. He did not copied Shiji at his ease. Bangu supplemented, corrected and deleted the content of Shiji according to these principles.
