| Printed by the Commercial Press House of Shanghai , the Novel Monthly Bulletin was created in 1910 and stopped in 1932 , which experienced 21 years . But it began to produce the extensive influence in the society since 1921 . While the creations of Chinese female literary , filled with the modern meaning , exactly started since 1920's . This thesis mainly makes research on the female doctrine novels in the Novel Monthly Bulletin . From the angle of the modern female doctrine , this thesis combs these novels for the systematic research on the female writers and different female roles , such as being the woman ,being the wife and being the mother. This thesis makes comparison and elaborates on them so as to "borrow a spot to know the whole leopard slightly", that is ,to get feedback of the basic features of the female doctrine novels in modern cultural activity .First , this thesis studies the novels wholly and summarized the stage characteristic of modern cultural activity female liberation from them ,from the desire of the free love and marriage , to the equal rights of the economic and social status and the consciousness of independence and self-respect . All these are witnessed in these female doctrine novels in the Novel Monthly Bulletin .Then , this thesis analyzed the creations of the following female writers : Bing Xin , Lu Yin , and Ding Ling . Compared to the male writers , the female writers are inclined to carry on the creations with a kind of female art style . But because of their different understanding of female experiences and emotions , their works contain their own orientation on thoughts and values , which differed from one another. Bing Xin is" full of gentleness with a little sadness ". Lu Yin is "the coward on the forked road " . Ding Ling "suffer the trauma of the time's depression , but revolt and call out" . To some extent, their creations all reflect the basic feature and the development process of the female doctrine novels in modem cultural activity. |
