Vladimir Nabokov (1899-1977) is one of the most important writers in the 20th century, and his masterpiece Lolita had been much more popular with people on Europe and America. In 1969, his novel Ada or Ardor: A Family Chronicle was published in New York, America, and it also had great influence. This thesis tries to analyze, card and comment on Nabokov's aesthetics thought according to Nabokov's novels and his other articles, such as his lectures of literature, interviewing notes and autobiography. This thesis says that Nabokov's "aesthetic bliss" thought not only gives his novel text distinctive artistry, but also make his novel writing become a text game of full of "aesthetic bliss".This thesis consists of introduction, main body and conclusion, and the main body has three parts.The introduction briefly introduces Nabokov's main works, and then accounts for the present researching situation at home and abroad. And it also shows the intention of the thesis and the thinking clew.The first chapter: "Aesthetic Bliss". It explains the forming of Nabokov's "aesthetic bliss", and the relation between it and the theory of Accepting Aesthetics pointed out by Juass and Isel , and tries to define Nabokov's "aesthetic bliss" thought.
