The history relation between Soviet and Iran is most profound in the countries in the Middle East. Because of the Sha' Russian aggression to Iran and the match of intense consciousness image, the relations of the two states always was in difficult position. With the great changes of the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe and the breakout of the Gulf War in the early 1990s, American influence into the world completely. Russia and Iran approached to strive for the strategic compress of American. The two countries' relation experienced threestages---(1991—1995), (1996—1999) (2000 until now). During theperiod , there are great deal of development about cooperation between the two states in economic and trade, especially in nuclear and munitions fields. They worked together well in safeguarding the security of the Central Asia, suppressing the terrorism and drugs, resisting American expansion and so on. With the improvement of relations, both of them effectively improved geopolitics surroundings. Particularly since the President Putin took office, Russia and Iran tried their best to develop relationship more thoroughly and clear up the disputes. There are much achivement between them, but Russia and Iran only result in support-drawing alliance, because of the influence of America, the economic absence of mutual benefit and the political alteration in Iran, but they won't become strategic partnership. Today the issue of Iranian nuclear program has been a serious problem. Russia and Iran won't give up each other in order to guarantee their owen benefits.
