Buyi Novel Study

Buyi was a long-history minority of China. There was an abundance of Rice culture, religious tradition and folk literature created by Buyi people. By this background, Buyi novels were commenced in mid-twentieth century as a new literature-style. They were developed depend on the culture foundation of Buyi people and the developing novels of Guizhou province.There were three parts of development in Buyi novels. The initial stage was the longest and slowest part. There were a few authors and novels delivered during 30 years because of the complex political environments and the 10 years' Great Cultural Revolution.Until after the siren bang was crushed, some authors such as Luo jiwan and Luo guofan became the head novelists of the high-tide of the Buyi novels' development. The high-tide of the Buyi novels' development was persisted nearly 10 years. In this time, burgeoning Buyi novels became the most important style of the Buyi literature.
