1912-1932 is the beginning 20 years of Republic of China since it had been established, the China intellectuals while glancing over the beautiful motherland, is far away from the hometown, who go to big cities, even to overseas for study, inspection, but also some go to other countries to seek asylum because of the political reasons, and then, they left many travel notes, which fully and accurately recorded the China intellectuals' ideas. My article mainly study on 1912 - 1932's travel, explore the China intellectuals' emotion, viewpoint on society, politics and culture, as well as the literary value of the travel notes creation of this time.This article is divided into five parts: 1st, to analyze the background of the travel notes of 1912 - 1932 and the authors' situation. Historical culture and thinking are the reason of differences between the travel notes of this time and the other time, different author statuses make the authors' attention different from each other.2nd, to present the authors' emotions, which mainly includes the expression of love, the sad mood and the sentiment on family country. 3rd, to demonstrate the intellectuals' vision: a harmoniously wonderful natural world, rich phenomena of society, and varying political observations. Besides showing that, I analyze the intrinsic formation reasons.4th, to analyze the China intellectuals' mind on cultural. This part shows two kinds of different minds: The mind of traditional culture and of modern civilization.5th, to narrate and comment the literary value of 1912 - 1932's travel notes.
