Hubei Ditty Music Research

On the basis of exploration into Hubei Province Ditty by forerunners and with the example of the main tune of Hubei Province Ditty——Southern Drama, this article is to compare and testify forerunners'perceptual knowledge and the possibilities put forward by them with the following methods:1.quantitative and qualitative analysis method;2.music morphology analysis method;3.comparative and inductive method, etc. Meanwhile, this article is also to probe into Hubei Province Ditty's development and change in different periods as to its melody,construction,vocal style,theme,and so on. What's more, this article is to expound the reasons for Hubei Province Ditty's prosperity,declination and its future development by investigating into the reality and integrating the knowledge of relative subjects, such as history,geography, etc.
