On Chinese contemporary literary circles, Su Tong is an active young writer. From historical novels to realistic novels, from"Feng Yang Tree"series to"Xiang Chun Tree Street"series and to"Hong Fen"series novels and so on, though the distinctive characters in Su Tong's novels always challenge readers'reading habits, we can find that Su Tong's aesthetics ideal is image. Images with bright personality characteristic widely exist in his novels, which expands the novels'space, and which shows Su Tong's writing creativity power, imagination and aesthetics value.The author tries to probe the image world in Su Tong's novels in the paper, besides the preface and the conclusion, there are four parts to analyze the creation of images in Su Tong's novels:The first part is about the images'main structure form based on the specific works, referring to parallel fitting form, leading radiated form, reversing development form and repeated setting form.In the second part, it is discussed that the image's artistic construction tactics, referring to the setting of narration, the enthusiasm imagination, the image language and the unconscious turning.In the third part, the author discusses the images'connotation and character, and taps the deeper reasons for the image group's forming, referring to motives, space-time view, tragedy view and life consciousness.In the forth part, it is answered why Su Tong is always infatuated with image , referring to his childhood experience, region factor, culture influence and aesthetics ideal.The author tries to analyze the image dynamically, to discuss the image writing's value and limitations, and further to discuss the characteristic and value of Su Tong's image writing on Chinese contemporary literary circles.
