Kierkegaard' thought embodies a process that how to become a self, in other words, how an individual becomes a Christian. From this perspective, he seriously criticized system and method that the speculative philosophy possesses so that he could set up the basic frame of the theory of despair .We could see two primary elements that are very important in his existential situation. First, it is in a certain despair stage in which he won't become himself. Secondly, in the relation between thinking and act, an individual as a synthesis could be conscious of the despair by dialectical conflict. Therefore by the qualitative synthesis , despair can be divided into two elements that consist in human being, finite and infinite despair and possible and necessary despair. What is more, by the qualitative consciousness, despair also can be divided into two parts, unconscious and conscious despair, the former is non-essence and the latter is essence despair in which not to be self can be desperate struggle to be self.In a word, in the aesthetical existential stage we can see a transformation from existential dimension to religious dimension. It is making one's decision that makes an individual self awakened. So we can say in this thesis despair manifests not absolute non-hope but a kind of save , in other words, save an individual from one's sin. Who can accomplish the mission, the eternal.
