Mohist Moral Thinking Is Practical Significance In The Contemporary Moral Construction

The policies formulated by our party, from The programmer for the implementation of the citizen's morality to "the eight glories and the eight shames" proposed by general secretariat Hujintao, have illustrated the significance of the thoughts of establishing the new time spirit by combining the excellent Chinese moral traditions and the new social practice. In order to update our outstanding moral traditions and bring forth new ideas, we must at first carry out detailed streamlining and deepened research on the outstanding moral thoughts under the rule of "inheriting the quintessence but abandoning the trash". The various schools of thought in the Pre-qin times is the source of our traditional moral thoughts and as a key school raising from the fierce thoughts-contending milieu in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, Mohism demonstrates some wealthy and solo academic value for its moral thoughts.
