Compared with the central land, the North-east part of China has always been regarded as the border area according to the geographic position. With the development of history, the much frequent population migration has become a remarkable feature and highlight in its social and environmental circumstance, especially by modern times, which is a great symbol and helps much in the study of the state of the migration in this area and its influence on the culture and society of the local history.During In the first year during Shunzhi's reign, with Qing Dynasty's invasion and years of war, the majority of the population moved to the central land , which led to the fact that almost no person could be seen around one hundred miles. However, during Shunzhi's reign, a series of the order of cultivating were conferred, encouraging people to migrate to Liao Shen Area. Then the history of migrating to Liao Shen area opened. From then on, the Qing administrators are in a controversy between development and prohibition on the issue of northeast migration, which urged the rulers of the Qing Dynasty to make adjustments in policy. After the first year of Xianfeng's reign, the Qing Dynasty removed the prohibition officially and a large quantity of people migrated into the northeast from the central land. One of the largest migration waves in history, both in population and time, was the migration of the people in Shandong province. Migrants from Shandong formed the majority of the northeast migration, and in a sense of culture, the modern northeast migrates society is an extension of Shandong society in some scholars' option. As a culture carrier, the migrants from Shandong undoubtedly took the culture of Shandong into the northeast with the migration to nurture a new and unique regional culture.Shandong migrants took up the majority of the local population in the northeast, which influenced the local culture both in material and ideology to a large extent inevitably. Shandong migrants have a far-reaching influence in material and spiritual culture, either in extent or depth.With the immigration of Shandong migrants, the social function of the north-east area was gradually changing and improving. Shandong migrants brought advanced agricultural skills with them and promoted the growth of agriculture in the north-east.
