The progress of human culture depends on critical inheritance by their inherent cultural heritage firstly, Second, relys on Learn from foreign cultural achievements. A history of mankind proved a fact that cultural exchange is the necessary of human, and the cultural exchange promoted the development of human culture and the progress of human society. No matter which nation in the world, as long as its culture is developed, none don’t benefit from the cultural exchange. The Roman empire, Completely absorbed the culture of ancient Greece heritage. As to the rapid development of modern European, the contact of various countries frequently in the philosophy、science literature and other all aspects is inseparable since the Renaissance. In the long history of human,some state or national culture in a particular period developed faster,and others were likely to slow、backwater、or even degradation,Some state or national culture may in some fields lead,and in other areas, but behind. Only to strengthen international and national exchange, the developed countries could have continued to expand, and the developing countries could have the potential in progress.Exchanges between different countries, different ethnic groups can not be separated from language, and language is not exist in isolation, every language in the world emerges and exists in a particular society. It has an internal relation with the culture. This relation is determined by the social nature of language. Language is the carrier of culture, cultural heritage, cultural images, and cultural existence. With the contacts between different cultures, the contact of language becomes inevitable, a lot of new things and new concepts are sometimes necessary for the use of foreign language to communicate. Japan, after the Meiji Restoration, catching up with Western Europe for its own modernization, had brought the political system, ideas, and cultural relics form the Western Europe. The loadword is the useful tool. The extensive use of foreign language adds a lot of vitality to the Japanese expression and has played a certain role in promoting economic and cultural development of Japanese society. Therefore, from the view of history, this essay applied linguistics, languages and cultural studies, folklore, sociology and other disciplines of knowledge to discuss the change of culture since the Meiji Restoration. It is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly discusses "loanwords, a review of the introduced into Japan". First of all, emphasize the definition of loanword in this paper, it is the word that introduced form the west after The Meiji Restoration, So it do not include words that introduced from China and other nationality’s language; Second,_details five stages, during these stages, a lot of loanwords introduced into Japan from different countries, and these loanwords include all aspects; Finally, this paper briefly count an overview of the loanwords being used in Japan. The number of the loanwords is huge and the scope of the loanword is very extensive.The second chapter mainly discusses "Since modern times the changes of the Japanese culture, with the introduction of loanword for perspective". This chapter is the focus of this article, in the perspective of loanword, mainly discusses cultural transformation of Japan since modern times from three aspects that include everyday life, language and custom. This paper mainly through diet, apparel, house and baseball to discuss daily life; this paper mainly through pronunciation, semantics, and expression to discuss Language; this paper analyze the folk custom through the changes of wedding ceremony, the significance of western holidays and the influence of Christianity in Japan.The third chapter mainly discusses "the characteristics of cultural vicissitude".The article conclude the three characteristics of cultural change after the Meiji restoration from the second chapter of the paper, that is, the intense nationalism, the consciousness of "Japanese nationality", the pursuit of the balance between tradition and modernization,. The article through the cases to expound the Japan how to combine western culture with traditional culture based on the premise of the Japanese nationality.
