Kant is the famous 18th century German philosopher and natural scientist. His critical theory laid the cornerstone of the German classical philosophy. Piaget is Switzerland's famous 20th century philosopher and psychologist. He is well known for his research of Genetic Epistemology. However, we also know that both Kant's and Piaget's theory system is very large. Due to the limit of my academic standards, it is very difficult for me to all clearly convey the theory within a limited comparison. The concept of "Schema" has happened to occupy a very important position whether in Kant's transcendental knowledge, or in Piaget's theory. We can even say that the "schema" is the starting point and the cornerstone of theories and ideas of the two thinkers, and their "schema" is embodied in their theories of Constructivism. Therefore, the essential differences between Kant's "a priori constructivism" and Piaget's "developing constructivism" are exposed in the concept of the "schema". Therefore, the author of this comparative study selected the most suitable and crucial point, in order to analysis comparatively on their constructivism by the concept of "schema". This study is of great significance for us to understand their knowledge.Kant's definition on the "schema" is related both with experience and with category. It is neither the specific image of a matter nor the concept of experience, but the conceptual means and principles of structure which symbolize some charts or models, and it was also called "framework". Kant stressed a priori schema that is the first human experience. Kant thought that the category of schema had been in the hearts of all mankind priori areas and was independent of human experience. Piaget learned Kant's "schema". But his "schema" refers to the structure and organization of the movements and actions, and is applicable to many common mode of action. Piaget argued that the first genetic schema of subjects is innate. But after that the schema can keep moving forward. The differences between the two thinkers are whether there is schema and the schema can develop. Kant and Piaget are common in recognizing that the schema must be innate before presence. But Piaget thought that the concept of "congenital" in Kant's "schema" is too broad. He only accepted the explanation in logical sense. Basing on the selective acceptance to Kant's concept, Piaget put forward his own views which claims that schema is not immutable but in the continued development of the interaction between subjects and objects.Kant's theory of constructivism is embodied through his "a priori judgment". That is the process to consolidate the sentimental material from objects with intellectual categories and cognitive schemas. Piaget's theory of developing constructivism is embodied through the theory of developing schema which stressed that the formation of scientific knowledge is a product of the interaction. They are common in the motivation and the experience of objects, and in the role of schema in the formulation of knowledge. And the differences between the two men are: First, Kant's constructivism is a one-way process. Piaget stressed that constructivism is a two-way construction between objects and subjects; Second, The source and the cope of schemas and categories to form knowledge are different between Kant and Piaget. It can be seen from the above text that Kant's and Piaget's "schema" has an inherited relation. There are also clearly some differences. As "schema" is the core of both the constructivism, thus it has certain academic significance to explore the links and differences. This is exactly the purpose of this study. This paper will try to study "schema" of the two thinkers from a neutral standpoint and with the use of the method of comparative study. The paper explained the concept of "schema", and then elaborated on the specific contents of the two theories of constructivism. On this basis, the writer focused on the similarities and differences in the two kinds of constructivism.
