She Came From The Ancient

Folk song is the abbreviation of popular songs among the people, which is the combinative form of culture and music. As the most ancient folkways culture eulogized by mouths and ears, folk song has been always playing a very important role among every nation in the world. One of the important reasons why all the thinkers, the educators and the artists pay much attention on researching in folk songs, is the close relation between singing and human being itself. Two thousand years ago, Chinese people has began to attach importance to vocal music and its artistic value. They had paid much attention not only on historical evolution of folk song , changes between content and form, but also on the reseach in singing's theory and skillngs. Then they could summarize some perfect and artistic singing theory, and form aesthetic character and habit of our own.Folk song is important signal and token of a nation's traditional culture, like ring of light embedded on its semblance. As a representative of traditional culture, folk song is attracting more and more attention all over the world. Especially today, with the developed civilization and fast-growing economy, folk song even more represents its extraordinary elegant demeanor of art and its great value of historiography, aesthetics and culture.This article consists of three parts:Part One mainly requires into the question on Chinese original folk song's origin. Trough lots of documents and illustrations, this article analyzes the historical background and cultural surroundings on how our nation's folk song came into being.Part Two, through the exploration on the history of Chinese ancient folk song, elaborates folk song's expression forms in different history periods, and the problems on artistic laws, national aesthetical psychology during the evolution process. It also combs the history process of Chinese traditional folk song's development.Part Three mainly expounds many items, such as the conception of new folk song, inheritance and innovation, many-faceted culture's communication, and music ontology culture. This article, taking two typical new folk songs《Meng Jiangnv》and《Xiao Baicai》as examples, fully demonstrates the aspects including their creation thought, music handling, image depiction, conflict and contrast of dramatic contradicts. It also represents my own's opinions on folk song's innovation and development in the future.
