Modern Design Creation, Color And Silkscreen Prints

The emergence of screen printing is combined with the fast development of the industrial civilization. It was closely connected with human's social life from the beginning. This characteristic incidentally meets with the application characteristic of the modern design concepts and becomes the original link between screen printing and modern design. As a result, serigraphs had obvious tendency to design on color creation. In a society cramped with information today, the application for the making of multimedia integrates with diverse backgrounds and concepts become the clear sign for the creativity of contemporary art. So, the creation of serigraphs, especially applying for color is inevitably based enormously on the research efforts and successful practices of modern design. As above, this paper tries to explain the development of modern design as the trend of human art design from three aspects. They are the production background of serigraphs and modern design, the developing principles of them in the modern design, art history and the technical features of the serigraphs. The impact of modern design color on contemporary serigraphs creation is inevitable. Because of the limited length, other design factors' influences on the serigraphs are not involved in this paper.
