This paper will study the origin of the black color and make clear its profound and unique cultural connotation.Try to approach from the angle of cultural concept,take the black as the main line,deepen the understanding of Chinese traditional color culture,combine with the own characteristic of the engraving creation,analyze a large number of domestic and foreign printmaking works with the black cultural connotation and aesthetic implication,and analyse the color of these prints.Try to prove that the engraving is also the same as the Chinese traditional ink art,and the color concept of the black can be highly fit,printmaking color can reflect the color concept of black,interpretation of the cultural connotation of black,bearing the aesthetic implication of the black.By analyzing the works of printmaking,this paper sums up the standards and conditions of how to match the aesthetic of the black print.Including the composition of printmaking,the exquisite skill of the blade,the subject matter and the image,the color of the picture,the way of painting,the aesthetic implication of printmaking,and so on,refine and deepen the content,and then increase it as a theoretical guide.,consciously used to guide the engraving creation.From the perspective of color concept,this paper will not only highlight the unique artistic charm of the Chinese nation,but also inject the cultural soft power for the engraving creation,and provide reference for the color application of the world’s nationalities,and add new vigor to the world Art forest.Chinese traditional color has distinctive national characteristics and profound cultural connotation,is thousands of years of ancient Chinese ancestors of the visual experience of the formation of the concept of color,which occupies a unique position,and Xuan color as a typical concept of color,in imperceptible influence on all aspects of people’s lives.In combing the black color and painting art,the author found that there are a lot of black and other art related to the literature,which about the engraving and black data is relatively short.But in carding the history of Chinese and foreign prints,the author found that the diversity of the production tools and the complexity of the production process so that printmaking has a distinction between the characteristics of other paintings:flatness and indirection.Printmaking may be the most suitable for the use of black painting art,there are many artists of the use of the works of printmaking,may be with the dark color concept is inextricably linked,and their print works of color and black color concept quite fit.This paper mainly discusses the concept of the black concept,and expounds the influence of the traditional Chinese philosophical and religious culture on the aesthetic characteristics of the black color.Through the lacquer ware,the ink painting and the Buddhism subject engraving and so on Chinese traditional art form to demonstrate the black color.This article takes the third chapter as the key point,demonstrates the Xuan color idea in the printmaking work the performance,the watermark woodcut is the key elaboration print variety.Then the author discusses the creative thinking of the idea of black color in the contemporary printmaking.The influence and reflection of the black color on the foreign engraving creation,the paper expounds the inheritance of the black idea in the contemporary printmaking creation,and ponders the creative expression of the contemporary printmaking creation.
