The purpose of this study is to find out the integer development and interrelations among children of different gender, different age, and different area. By the means of experiment, this research selected one kindergarten each from city and country. There are all 120 subjects took part in the tests. The results indicated:(1) The development of preschoolers' theory of mind accelerated as the age grew up, and it has a significant difference. At the age of 4, it is the transition period for the development of children's theory of mind. There was no significant difference in gender and area difference of preschoolers' theory of mind. The development of children's theory of mind can also be manifested by the consistency and specificity of children's performance in different theory of mind tasks.(2) There was no significant difference between ages in preschoolers' ability of discerning cry and laugh. For children have grasped the ability of discerning cry and laugh, it has a ceiling effect. There was no significant difference between ages in preschoolers' ability of discerning angry, while it was not in discerning fear. There were no significant differences between genders in preschoolers' ability of discerning theses face -expression. In discerning cry and angry, there was a significant difference between areas, urban children's performance is better than the suburban.(3)The development of preschoolers' emotion understanding accelerated as the age grew up, and it has a significant difference between ages. The preschoolers' emotion understanding development has some differences, but it did not attain the significant level. The development of preschooler's emotion understanding has its order: firstly desire understanding, then desire emotion understanding, belief understanding, belief emotion understanding.(4) There were significant positive correlation between the tasks of theory of mind and emotion understanding, except for discerning cry and laugh. After control age, gender and area, some tasks still had significant correlation.(5) The development of preschoolers' prize sharing behavior decreased as the age grew up, but it has no significant difference between ages. The boys' prize sharing behavior was more than the girls', but this difference has not attained the significant level. The urban prize sharing behavior was more than the suburban, but this difference has not attained the significant level. The development of preschooler's tool sharing behavior accelerated as the age grew up, but it has no significant difference between ages. The girls' tool sharing behavior was more than the boys', and it has significant difference between genders. The urban tool sharing behavior was more than the suburban, but this difference has not attained the significant level.( 6 ) Theory of mind, emotion understanding, and sharing behavior had significant correlation. Behavior forecast, desire understanding and others' false belief affected preschooler's prize sharing behavior. The ability of discerning cry, other's false belief can influence preschooler's tool sharing behavior.
