This paper attempts to study text coherence from well-improved cognitive context's view. First, it gives a synthesized definition of text and then has a brief review of the history of text coherence study. After that it makes analysis of the previous study and generally presents its understanding of coherence from cognitive text's perspective. In the chapter of well-improved cognitive context theory, it makes improvement to the definition, composing elements and features of cognitive context theory. At the same time, it effectively combines the cognitive mode with the previous cognitive context theory, pointing out the relation between the two, which becomes the vital step in the process of cognitive context construction. The well-improved cognitive context theory is more practical, offering a new perspective on coherence study. In the process of studying the text, readers or listeners must combine all possible information together in order to understand the text comprehensively. The construction of cognitive context is the process of making all necessary information as a whole, which offers a three-dimensional world for readers of listeners to search for the coherence so that they can thoroughly understand the text.
