Qing Dynasty is a special age in the literature of world , No matter in the aspect of politics , or in the aspect of literature . The conflicts existed for a long time between nations , governer and officers , and then the literators felt more press than any time before . They had to look on their lives in a new point of view . And also , all of these aspects affected the literators'works.It's a long time that people haven't pay much attension on the poem of Qing Dynasty . Most people considered that there weren't poem after Tang Dynasty . So they ignored those tremendous amount of poem in Qing Dynasty. As a result , so much literary achievements were neglected, and so much as those poets'suffering and pain. Literature never can exist alone, it expresses the real feelings of people in the world , rather that in a such special age . You can choose any poem in this age , then you will find a wide world you haven't know . That is how I met Li E accidentally , and then pay attention to him.Li E lived in Yong Zheng and Qian Long Age , and died when he was sixty-one years old. In literary history , he is regarded as the leader of the Zhe school in poetry, also the leader of Zhe ci sect in the mid-term . But compared with those famous people, his life was very ordinary and poor. He put all his energy into studying and literature. He put his feelings about life into his poem . This thesis is divided into two parts on the whole . The first part is about Li E's experience in all his life, then the form of his character.,including three chapters.The chapter one tells his experience ,emphases his attitude to his own official career. He didn't seek fame and wealth .Then from these analysis ,we can know that Li E made his choice clearly , he knew what he wanted.The chapter two states the affection from his friends. Li E spent almost thirty years in Xiao Linglong shanguan in Yangzhou city. There were many people , who suffered different experience. They got together in Yangzhou at that time . They made much effects to literature, at the same time , they concerned Li E much, not only on his life , but also on his spirit . Therefore Li E could write his poem with all his heart.The chapter three analyses the background of society and literature . And cites the example of Lv Liuliang's case in Yong Zheng Age. We can get a conclusion that The Letter Prison just was a drama, and the emperor was the director, literators were players who were mastered . They could lose their lives easily . These dread and tension were also embodied on their literary works.The second part is about Li E's poem theory, poem works, and his meaning in the literary history.The chapter one states his poem theory. Li E hadn't poem theory systematically. He expressed his poem theory in some of his articles written for his friends. From these articles we can summarize his poem theory , they are : what is poem, putting knowledge and heart into poems , moral in poem . And these theories also directed his poetry composition.The chapter three states his meaning in poetry history . First , compared with primary poetry school , Li E was the representative of poor poets . Their lives were difficult , but their spirit was firm , they put their real feeling into poem , so their poem were true . Then , the writer analyses Li E'status in his time. His life was in Yangzhou, hangzhou, tianjian, in these places, he has many friends . And Li E was the leader in all these places. Li E wasn't well in affiliating with peoole., but he obtained much respect from his friends . Li E's poem were full of sensibility, his language were fluency and cleanly. He is a pure poet.
