Song Literati Aesthetic And Cultural Mentality

During the specific history and culture period of Song Dynasty, the aestheticpsychology of scholars has distinctive features. It inherits tradition, meanwhileprovided with epoch characteristic. It affects the fabrication of Chinese aestheticpsychology and culture construction. Chapter 1 of this dissertation expounds thedual manifestation of the aesthetic psychology——practical and introspective.Chapter 2 discusses the reason included in the aesthetic psychology while theConfucian school of idealist philosophy is flourishing. Chapter 3 analyzes theaesthetic interest and charm under the influence of Chan Zong. The last chapterdeliberates the poetry aesthetic ideal——Ping Dan Beauty. On the one hand, theauthor reveals the reason embodied from the technique and method of the form, onthe other hand, expounds the implication of Chan Zong included in the spirit of thepoems.
