Water System Of Property Rights In The Tang Dynasty

This thesis is a piece of analysis of Tang Dynasty's water right system, using the research methods of latter-days' economic science. The data and information preserved by Tang Dynasty provide the possibility of our research. Irrigation works or water conservancies were tremendously increased and developed in that period, and so did the status of the system of water right that infected and promoted each other. Also, it is the great leaven such effect worked on the social economy. Further more, all phenomenon mentioned above could be explained in Property Right Economy and Institution Economy.The universal concepts of nowadays' economic science is cited in this history thesis, and making an effort on the works of the study of water right status of Tang Dynasty, and so does the status of property right of Tang Dynasty's social economy. As we know Tang Dynasty is one peak of the developing of ancient China. The persistent evolution of both irrigation works or water conservancies and social fertility in that period do focus our attention upon, so far as the construction of system of water right.This thesis is a comprehensive and full-scale research of Tang Dynasty's water right, it makes a general study on such a territory in the method of nowadays'. Also we suppose it can make some effort on the work of research of water right study of whole ancient Chinese water right system.
