Southern Tang Poetry Study

In the history of Chinese poetry,the poetry of Tang and Song were two tall mountains which were gazed by people. It was often argued by people that who had advantage to the poetry of Tang or Song on earth.But few people mention the literature of Wudai that between Tang and Song. The thought of my article is by reseach regional literature to analyze the function of passing though transition for Wudai'literature between Tang and Song.It had important position not only in politic and economy but also in culture for south Tang in Wudai Shiguo dynasty.In the past,people always put literature of wudai or south Tang behind Tang or ahead Song,which ignored the characteristic of literature of this term and its function in history of literature. Huyinglin ,who was in Ming dynasty,metion the literature of Wudai in his《resource of poetry》.Then Zheng zhenduo and Yang yinshen metion the literature of south Tang.After 80',20 century,Xiang yiqun, Jiang chao, Luo zongqiang, He zhongfu, Zhang xingwu and Liu ning made deeply study for literature of Wudai and south Tang.My article partly study them.Wudai was a time when war frequently took place,when people was in pain.The north china developed almost in slaughter.Relatively,the political stuation of south Tang was stable,which one hand due to basis that Wu had made ,on the other hand,the fundation of south Tang was not through war but in giving a seat.Three emperors for south Tang all emphsized developing economy.Though they did not want to unified china,but could make local safety. Stable stuation of politic and prosperous economy provided the basis for literatural creation of south Tang.At the same time , south Tang emphasized the Ru theory,they provided good condition to poets ,adding liberal view for poets,these all had some function for shaped the characteristic of south Tang'poety.Based living environment of poets and their style of works,we classfied poets of south Tang to royal court poet,concealing poets and commom poets .The content of poetry for south Tang including idle and light tendengcy for stay a corner , sick at heart on random time , frequent reward in poem each ohter ,the feeling for singing sex in exchanging dynasty ,and some good works .In arts,south Tang mainly studied the middle and later Tang'poetry especially Bai style ,Wantang style and Wenli style .It emphasized the feeling and in form of five and seven words which approve Tang .Its launguage was classical and prettry .The function of pass through transition for south Tang'poetry mainly materialized on studing three stlye which formed in middle and later Tang and influcing three poetry stlye of beginning of Song. Some poets from south Tang to Song became the main writter in the beginning of Song .They made some effect that could not be ignored to literature style for beginning of song.
