Opera Plate Changes In The Use Of Modern Vocal Music

Drama music is a key part of Chinese ethnic vocal music. With study and development of drama music further, it will carry forward the treasure of traditional ethnic music practically and effectively. As a matter of fact, ethnic vocal music also roots itself into drama music, which is an abundant and endless source for it. It is an unavoidable course to practise drama music for every learner of vocal music performance. Wei Liang Fu in Ming Dynasty wrote in"Qu Lv"that there were three elements and tricks for a good drama music: one was clear lyrics, the other was correct tune, and the third was exact rhythms. Drama music with different rhythms is one of its characteristics. The variety of rhythms refers to the various rhythms that are used by means of different compositions to display the contents based on a basical tune. Variety of rhythms not only enriches the singing and expression of emotions, but also abounds the narration and drama expression of music, which offers drama music more expressive functions. It is compulsory and further requirement for drama music with dramatically expressional function to become play music. It goes without saying that drama music has had a milestone-like development with the appearance of the variety of rhythms. With years of learning and practice, I have noticed that the extensively used variety of rhythms in drama music absolutely makes the work of art more touching and expressive. In this thesis, after the introduction of the various forms and feature of rhythms, I will focus on the applications and the means of applications of rhythms among modern vocal music work (including ethnic opera, neo-creative-large-scale vocal music work, and all other types of work of art), along with the analysis of the function and significance of those applications.
