Sun Chuo

The article study Sun Chuo, one of the famous literature and metaphysician in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, based on the classical works and the predecessor scholar collation achievement.The article is divided into three chapters. The first chapter focuses on the textual research of Sun Chuo' s life time , works proofread and intercourse, including three part: the textual research of Sun Chuo' s family background and deeds of Sun Chuo' s life; the textual research of Sun Chuo' s works; the textual research of Sun Chuo' s friends and contacts. First the article analyzes the influence of Sun Chuo elder generation' s ideology and character on Sun Chuo .Second the article divides his life time and official position into three part and deals with it exhaustively in order to sketch all Sun Chuo' s life track broadly. Third the article focuses on the analysis of Sun Chuo personality characteristics to correct the near person' s misunderstanding over some terms of Sun Chuo character the history books had recorded, at last obtains the conclusion—Sun Chuo performance has many contrary character traits rolled into one simultaneously, and analyzes the deep causes of the complexity personality from his life encounter, political status and mentality analysis . Finally examine Sun Chuo' s works and intercourse specifically.The second chapter discusses Sun Chuo' s philosophical thinking, the article divide his philosophical thinking into three part—understand and learn metaphysics to reach a consensus in metaphysics and Buddhism; take Buddha as supernatural to reach a consensus in Buddhism and Taoism; In and Out are the same to reach a consensus in Confucius and metaphysics. The article not only expresses Sun Chuo' philosophical thinking of integration of Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism but also reflects mutual penetration trends toward Buddhism, Confucian school, Taoism and metaphysics in the Eastern Jin Dynasty.The third chapter analyzes Sun Chuo' s literary achievements. It is divided into three specific areas: poetry, essay and rhymed prose. The article takes Metaphysical Poetry as important research object. Firstly Metaphysical Poetry is divided into three categories on the basis of the historical contexts—speaking to metaphysical thinking directly; convey metaphysical thinking to his friends; expressing metaphysical thinking throughout good landscapes. Secondly it analyzes Metaphysical Poetry specifically and conclude his poem features: a vivid touch and crystal remoteness; plainness and fluency; melody harmony if knock-gem .To his rhymed prose, at first the article reviews the comments of successive rhymed prose—"travel Tian Tai mountain rhymed prose" , then summarizes the achievement of his other rhymed prose we less are concerned, such as " Look sea rhymed prose" and "Sui Chu rhymed prose" .To Sun Chuo' s essays, the article classifies his essays and analyzes its artistic characteristics.
