Also his writing practice and theory of criticism put the concept of literature manifesting the Dao and the elegant and orthodox writing style into exist, which had been advocated by literati of the eastern Zhejiang on behalf of official consciousness in the early Ming dynasty and could not be realized under politics going from bad to worse. However, after JingNan event, literati adapted themselves to requirement of period and inherited rational thought as well as literature view based on morality on background of the Neo-Confucianism being worshipped. But they extinguished the responsible and vigorous spirits embodied in Fany Xiaoru's literature as both one's moral and character and value orientation has changed under the feudal imperial power monarchy.
