On The Buddhist Story Of Paintings Of Contemporary Chinese Animation

Through the analysis and investigation of the Buddhist story painting in the Chinese beaux-art history, through the comparison of the painting characteristics of Buddhist story painting and the contemporary Chinese animated pictures, this thesis contributes to discover the features of the former, such as creation method, composition form, sculpting style have affected the latter to certain extent, but cannot totally help the latter to form the specific Chinese characteristics. Thus having expatiated the influence the art of the Buddhist story painting has in the Chinese beaux-arts history, I compared the painting characteristics of the Buddhist story painting with that of the contemporary Chinese animated pictures. Consequently I find out the common ground of both and put emphasis on the illumination of the function that the artistic life kernel of the Buddhist story painting has on the contemporary Chinese animated pictures. Thereby, I can study furthermore the influence that the Buddhist story painting has on the contemporary painting art of the new form in the Chinese beaux-arts history. In this way I do academically theoretical research on the developing direction of the Buddhist story painting in the new form, simultaneously make a theoretical exploration into the formation of the Chinese feature of the new art------contemporary Chinese animated pictures.
