On The Universal Ethical Foundation Of A Harmonious World

In the 21^st century, mankind faces a new era. Peace, development and cooperation have become the mainstream of the times, at the same time, human beings are meeting serious challenges from increasingly prominent global problems, such as increasing of unstable and uncertain factors affecting peace and development of the world, local wars and conflicts arising from time to time volts, further widening of the North-South Gap, terrorism, transnational crime, environmental pollution, serious infectious diseases, and all these universal problems are no doubt conducive to promote world harmony and will threaten peace and development of the world. For the realization of world peace and development and building a beautiful home of mankind, China put forward the idea of building a harmonious world.Harmony is our common aspirations, but also the pursuit of the common values of humanity. The suggestion of harmonious world theory has its profound context of the times: 1, the main consideration is to solve the general problems in the Era of Globalization. 2, it is the development to the theory of Building a Harmonious Society. 3, it is needed for global governance theory. From the theoretical background of view, harmonious world theory has a profound ideological and theoretical basis of Marxism and originates from the essence of traditional Chinese culture. the connotation is to pursuit a balanced and coordinated development of the world and to achieve the world of democracy, harmony, justice and tolerance, In other words, that is peaceful coexistence, complement each other and benign interactions. Discussion on how to build a harmonious world,the first is the discussion on the pursuit of value and moral, because human morality is the inevitable way of life, there has been certain differences beyond the common ethical and moral principles since the birth of humanity. These principles is long-term effective, irrevocable and unconditional for human survival and development, globalization is the basic feature of today's world, globalization has brought global issues and universal ethics is needed to solve these general problems, It has reached a worldwide consensus on universal ethical principles essential for building a harmonious world. Respect for the principles of human rights: 1,respect for human dignity, respect for the right to life, which is respect for life and cherish life. Respect the right to development and economic, social and cultural rights for the people all over the world, respect for equality among peoples, peace and national right to self-determination, respect for religious beliefs and cultural rights;2, the principle of equality: the sovereign equality of States, and to establish a sovereign equality at the core of a new international political order and all countries, big or small, rich or poor, strong or weak, should be equal, and mutual noninterference in internal affairs; 3,principles of justice: the pursuit of world economic justice is needed for building a harmonious world. Economic globalization may be the basis of the realization of economic justice to the world, the growing of consciously reflect on the plight for the world economy may be fair to provide an important ideological traction, strengthening the impartiality of the United Nations and other international organizations and playing an effective role in the global function are important thoroughfares for world economy justice;4, tolerance principles: respect for diversity, respect for independent choice and achieving a harmonious coexistence and win-win results.Taking the current international situation into consideration, from multidisciplinary perspective of ethics, political science, sociology, economics, international relations, philosophy, diplomatic philosophy and anthropology, through systems analysis, comparative studies, historical analysis, data collection, the method theory and practice, the object of the paper is attempt to explore ways of building a harmonious world by stick to universal ethical principles and the author hopes to give some lessons for building a lasting peace and common development of a harmonious world.
