| Impressionism in figure modeling shows by different ways in Chinese paintings according to different themes. The reason is that though there are similarities, there are differences showed by art language, styles and contents. The aim of this article is to try to analyze the performance language of impressionism in figure modeling of opera-themed Chinese paintings and to discuss the excellent tradition and achievements by studying some cases and through my own experience. This can help us find out the content which the impressionistic language is trying to impress and the style that we can learn from to state the extremely broad quality, the changeable meaning and the special expressing space of impressionism, which is especially showed in figure modeling of opera-themed Chinese paintings. |
