Open Up Both Ends Of The Stick To Its Own

This article starts from Haisu Liu's study experiences of oil painting and Chinese painting, researching Liu's Chinese painting elements in oils. Especially, the focus is the usage of "blanking", "outlining and filling", "Chinese sketch", "paint colouring" and "calligraphy". Meanwhile, through the review of process of the nationalization of oil painting style, there are the analyses and critiques on Haisu Liu's efforts to make his oil painting style nationalized.
