Subjective well-being may be defined as people's global evaluation of their lives by their own criteria. It is an important comprehensive psychological index of life quality. In order to measure the subjective well-being of the primary school teachers who live in national minority areas in the west of Sichuan province, and then discuss which factor influence their subjective well-being, we choose 208 primary school teachers from Sichuan Ganzi autonomous prefecture and Aba autonomous prefecture in this research project. Through our tentative research, we contain these conclusions as follow:1. The subjective well-being level of the primary school teachers is so ordinary; their positive affect and negative affect is at medium level; through the evaluation of well-being by themselves, they are happy, but not so much.2. The female teachers'whole subjective well-being is higher than the male teachers.3. The unmarried teachers'whole subjective well-being is higher than the married teachers, but there is not a remarkable difference in statistics.4. The Tibetan teachers'whole subjective well-being is higher than the Han ethnic teachers.5. There is a remarkable statistical difference on the negative affect between the teachers at different age, and there is not a remarkable statistical difference on the life satisfaction, positive affect and the self-evaluation of well-being.6. There is a remarkable statistical difference on the life satisfaction between the teachers who have different degree, but there is not a remarkable statistical difference on the positive affect, negative affect and the self-evaluation of well-being.7. There are remarkable statistical differences on the life satisfaction, negative affect and the self-evaluation of well-being between the teachers who work in different area. General, the teachers who work in city enjoy highest subjective well-being level, and the teachers who work in rural area have lowest subjective well-being level.8. The factors such as human relationships, work condition, health condition, work place and the agreement of goal has intensive correlation with subjective well-being level.
