Taking Xianyu Jing as the chief corpus, this paper makes a conclusive counting and analysis for the assertion sentences therein. We try to classify in assertion sentence styps and function meaning. Classify these sentences in forms whether there are assertion copula and "too" to end .We also enumerate special assertion sentences in full. We try to explain the characteristics and engendering causation of special assertion sentences, we alse classify in another function angle, assertion sentence in Xianyu Jing are very enrichment. In Xianyu Jing, Forms and styps of assertion sentence are very abundant and various. Study of Chinese assertion sentences in this article is meaning and value to Chinese syntax study.Besides, a synchronous comparison between Xianyu Jing and other literatures, as well as an asynchronous comparison between middle ancient times and ancient and modern ancient times, are made in order to track the evolvement of assertion sentences in Chinese in history. The paper finally tries to offer a tentative explanation to the evolvement mechanism based on some modern theories and methods.
