Jane Austin has published six novels during her life, and these novels mainly describe unmarried men and women of the gentry's class. The author expresses her unique concept of marriage and life, through describing the various problems and the different options faced by those unmarried men and women before marriage.As two key words,"judge"and"choice"have been throughout in these novels. By understanding the standards of"judge"and"choice"made by characters in Austin's novels and their final fate, it is not difficult for readers to understand the author's pains about describing the moral dimensions.In fact, the criticism to the moral dimensions in Jane Austin's novels has never stopped. This paper focuses on four aspects to talk about some moral problems being in the moral dimensions criticism of Austin's novels, namely: the connection of literature and moral, the moral critical tradition of the English novel, the total condition of Jane Austin's novels and her critical moral dimensions, the relationship of moral dimensions and pattern dimensions in Austin's criticism.According to the above-mentioned analysis, the writer wants to express that novels of Jane Austin have showed that ethical philosophy of daily life, and her choice to artistic skill in her works which depends on whether it can serve for moral theme as better as possible.
