Dongzhuang Atlas "artistic Characteristics And Their Impact

Shen Zhou not only took advantage of many techniques of the nature , but also studied from some traditional great painters in his works "Dongzhuang Drawings". It has shaped distinct characteristics in the subject matter of painting, painting style performance techniques and so on, and it was apt to elegant and implicative in it's style.Its significance lies in the following aspects, firstly it is based on the painting from nature, not entirely a product of imagination. Secondly, it is not simple drawings of gardens but the specific scenery of gardens was expressed through a certain style with the painter's understanding of life.The author of this article thinks that in the past scholars' studies on "Dongzhuang Drawings" often stayed on external level. So in the paper I try to give deep inquiry on "Dongzhuang Drawings" in the following three aspects, firstly, I give the analysis of the reason that the works came into being. Secondly, I summarize the characteristics of the works, including richness and diversity of style, profound reality in the aesthetic sense and so on. I analyzed the influence of the "Dongzhuang Drawings" on "Zhuozhengyuan Drawings" which was drawn by WenzhengMing.The paper tries to form comprehensive understanding on "Dongzhuang Drawings", so as to help us realize it's artistic performance.
