| Chinese traditional painting pays attention to the expression of the author’s subjective ideas.The artist combines aesthetic ideal with his own thoughts and feelings,and reflects aesthetic character and sentiment in the picture.On the basis of copying the ancients,Shen Zhou absorbed the advantages of various schools and innovated his painting style and expressive techniques.Shen Zhou’s "Dongzhuang Tu" tends to be quiet and quiet in aesthetic sense,with an air of naivety and simplicity,creating a new style of painting of Wumen School,and bringing aesthetic enlightenment to post-Wumen School scholars."Dongzhuang Tu" book is made by Shen Zhou for his friend Wu Kuan.It is based on Dongzhuang scenery sketch,and its painting style and form of expression have special features.As one of the representatives of Wumen School,Shen Zhou’s painting style has a far-reaching impact on later generations.Shen Zhou inherited the skills of his predecessors and integrated them into a unique personal style.This paper studies the social background and living conditions of literati at that time,compares the painting style and aesthetic characteristics of Dongzhuang Tu with those of predecessors’ landscape paintings,and enumerates Shen Zhou’s works of the same period and later scholars.This paper probes into Shen Zhou’s artistic attainments,cultural accomplishments and ideological qualities,and combines the literati’s living conditions and artistic realm pursued at that time to explore the aesthetic characteristics,artistic value and influence on later generations of the book. |
