The early dogmatic theology proposed by Hans Kung arouses widely and hot discussions for its critical reflect on Christian theology, which traps him into the conflicts with the Pontifical authority. As a result, his theory has taken up the unique and special place in the dogmatic theology history of the twentieth century. The break-through challenges to Christian theology that Hans Kung has made foster him to be the representative of the transforming of the conventional religion models. Hans Kung smashes the frame of traditional Christian theology and extends his researches into a series of conventional propositions of dogmatic theology and biblical theology with totally new viewpoints. Hans Kung's theory is open-ended and he questions conventional Christian theological propositions against the current thought background. On the one hand, he bravely faces the long-history disputes and conflicts among the Christians; on the other hand, he daringly encounters various criticizes and challenges on Christianity and Christian theology accompanying the development of modern times in the Western.
