From The Meta-language Look At The Language Level

The research on language level in object language and meta-language sense originates from the modern logic philosophy, and plays an extremely important role in the development of scientific theory of linguistics. This thesis takes "Meta-language" as a starting point, combing the origin of meta-language and the language evolution, thus exploring the level of language through meta-language stratum. At last we draw support from the examination of language level for the explanation of the common meta-language rhetoric phenomenon and seek the root causes of this phenomenon both logically and theoretically. We will still discuss the realization methods of the positive semantic deviation of meta-language rhetoric phenomenon via language levels; thereby we can better display the positive effect of meta-language rhetoric phenomenon which manifests in language communication and avoid such negative deviation from occurrence. By doing so, we will make our communication process more smoothly and successfully. The positive meta-language rhetoric deviation not only has enriched our language expression forms, but also broken through the thought level barriers; it has people break the convention in language application forms, achieving vivid, vigorous and more successful communication effect with language.
