The world of work is changing. Job transitions are becoming increasingly common in china. We need increase capacity greatly. We think better of the help of vocational guidance give client. In order to adapt the changing career, Employed Adults must need some basic conditions, and improve the occupational engagement level is become more importantly.The present study conducted a questionnaire survey of hi-tech enterprise (n=432) to examine the relations between Career Beliefs, irrational belief, occupational engagement, and recension the Occupational Engagement Scale (OES-EA) for adults (Richard T. Scott, 2006), and discuss the development characteristic of occupational engagement. The research results indicate that (1) make use of measures to recension the scale, and validate the dimensions of job curiosity and job involvement. Confirmatory Factor Analysis was used to confirm and analyze the structure of the scales. RSMEA=.068, that frame of the two dimensions is reasonable. The Cronbach's alpha for sample were .88 on Job Curiosity, .86 on Job Involvement and .89 for the Total Score. (2) there is not a difference of occupational engagement and its' dimension on gende on the enterprise employee in China r, but have the significant difference in the different work time, regions, educational level of the enterprise employee in China; (3) the different dimensions of the Career Beliefs and irrational belief affect the Occupational engagement and its' different dimensions, and validate the Career Beliefs is a medi-variable. The model of the present study supposed that is a good model. we discuss the relation of the different dimensions in three variable through the path analysis, and gain the outcome that the five dimension of irrational belief have the indirect or direct effect in the two dimensions of the occupational engagement, and the career beliefs is a part-medi-variable or medi-variable.The research results show the occupational engagement of our employed adults has us characteristics, and has the similar outcome in the American. But we can find our samples have the little level in career curiosity, and have the slow development. So while must deeply improve the level of job involvement, we pay attention to bring up the job curiosity of employees, and this is a good measure to the vocational guidance.
