| Hanshu is our first history book which narrates the story by dynasty, it occupies an important position in the history. Zhong Hua Book Company published hanshu in 1962, which absorbed strong points of every editions of hanshu. But the error was unavoidable. Wenxuan selected by Xiao Tong is the earliest existing set of poems. Wenxuan, which is explained by li Shan, has a massive of materials. We will be able to collate ancient books as references. It enables us to sneak a peek at the appearance of hanshu which preserves to the early Tang dynasty. Using wenxuan explained by Li Shan, as well as other correlation datas, to collates hanshu, has the help to hanshu collations or wenxuan studies. |
