The Qing Dynasty is an important period for the study of Wenxuan.New inventions have been made in collation, certification, commentary and annotation.Yu Xiaoke,Born in the beginning of Qing Dynasty, compiled Wenxuan Yinyi and Wenxuan Jiwen, which were the representative works of the study of Wenxuan in Yongzheng and Qianlong period, and made great contributions to the accumulation and breakthrough of academic research.Yu Xiaoke followed phonosemantics of Sui and Tang Dynasties to compile Wenxuan Yinyi. This book not only inherits the methods and contents of phonosemantics in Sui and Tang Dynasties, but also takes a dialectical view of its research results and establishes the compilation purpose of correction and supplement. It is the pioneer of the monographs on phonosemantics of Wenxuan in early Qing Dynasty, and has an important impact on the development of phonosemantics in later generations.Wenxuan Jiwen is of great value in collecting loss of Wenxuan. In terms of content,it collecting the literature content of Wenxuan systematically, including the literature style of Wenxuan, the literature of which the author's study, the content of "the same work" and "the proposed work" in Wenxuan,so as to collect the research situation of Wenxuan as comprehensively as possible. In terms of formal,it following the order of Li Shan's annotations on Wenxuan, especially marking the source of the quotation, recording the number of volumes detailiy, and benefiting future generations. In addition,it combining the compilation and research, supplementing the deficiencies of Wenxuan Yinyi, forming a set of orderly methods of arrangement, making great contributions to the collection of literature on Wenxuan. On the one hand, the significance of Yu Xiaoke's study of Wenxuan in the history of selection is reflected in the fact that Wenxuan Yinyi was a research monograph of Wenxuan which appeared earlier in the early Qing Dynasty. This book explores Wenxuan from the perspective of phonology, which has opened up the study of the phonology and meaning of Wenxuan in the Qing Dynasty, and has a far-reaching impact on Duan Yucai and Wang Niansun's method of "seeking truth from sound".On the other hand, the citation of Wenxuan Jiwen indicates the origin and the number of volumes in detail, reflecting the textual research trend. Its literature is rich, highlighting the characteristics of collection. The contents of the compilation are all over the history subset, miscellaneous compilation and miscellaneous transcription, etc. The lost copy is old banknote engraved and indicates the difference of the text.In the process of collecting lost works,we actively raised doubts, boldly corrected errors and carefully judged right and wrong, which laid the academic norms for collecting lost works.Although the study of Yu Xiaoke's Wenxuan Works still has the problem of "genre disproportion",we should give it an objective and fair evaluation.
