Castiglione Fine Brushwork Bird Realistic Language Understanding

Though as a missionary when Giuseppe Castiglione came to China ,he had been a special painter for the emperors in the Qing Dynasty for 51 years.During these years,he took an important part in such jobs as painting ,court decorating ,construction-designing and so on. This thesis aims to discuss his flower-and-bird painting achivement in view of my similar major. For the above reason,the thesis takes his flower-and-bird paintings ,which were painted by close attention to detail ,as a helpful cultural referance,so as to attain some beneficial experience and conversely it will be conducive for me to produce more excellent flower-and-bird paintings .
