Deriving from Chinese literature and developing in Thailand, Thailand's Chinese Literature well assimilates the civilizations and cultures of China and Siam, whose distinctions are strongly manifested when coming to the historical periods of"three ups and two downs"in its development. In other words, the development of Thailand's Chinese Literature stems from the collision and blending of Chinese and Thai Cultures. Moreover, with the strong pervasion of Buddhist Culture in Thailand and the subtle influence exerting from Chinese culture and its traditional thoughts, the Literature undoubtedly develops and displays it own literary flavor by the affection of them. Thus, the aim of the paper is to discover cultural characteristics in Thailand's Chinese Literature with the study on works of the Literature.By analyzing well-chosen masterpieces, it is expected to reveal the characteristics on culture and literature of both China and Thailand, reflected in the Literature in particular situations. As is schemed, the paper will be divided into three parts. Mainly, in the first chapter, the history of the Literature's development will be traced back. Not only as the venation of the Literature, is it also an important basis for latter analysis. In the second chapter, the religious culture and distinctive custom of Siam will be delicately depicted by work study of the Literature. When coming to the third chapter, the essential features of Chinese culture, which differentiate the Literature from any other Thai ones, will be discussed. As a whole, people will be impressed by the strength and power coming from cultural collisions while studying on the Literature. Moreover, as for a literature which is endowed with contradictive culture features seemingly, it has been experiencing a tough time to fight for its own development.
