Watercolor Local Development In The Context Of Chinese Traditional Culture

After watercolor painting had introduced from abroad,it has been influenced by Chinese traditional culture and blended with Traditional aesthetics and aesthetic thought,and gradually formed a new kind of Chinese watercolor painting which carried traditional aesthetic and cultural characteristics.In this paper.The author introduces the development of watercolor painting in China,and the phase of the localization process of the watercolor painting in our country.Then,discusses the watercolor painting has deeply influenced by Chinese traditional culture,and carries the true spirit and aesthetic thought of Chinese traditional culture,and shows the impact and blend of Chinese traditional culture to watercolor painting art which includes mood,spirit,language and modeling.Finally this paper analysis the development of problems and causes about contemporary watercolor painting.However,The main questions on developing of Chinese watercolor painting are similar themes,we can not express the real meaning of the painting,and lose the spirit of the painting.These problems are effect by internal and external factors,such as artists are always go far from the real life,the evaluation system does not work perfect.In a word,this paper points out that local development-oriented in the context of Chinese traditional culture,has live dimensions which includes that is based on national traditions, social life,contemporary spirit,promote different personalities and develop diversity.
