On Gramsci's Theory Of Cultural Hegemony And Its Modern Revelation

There is no doubt that China's current literature go to the two extremes:One is too obedience to the rapid development of the economy,going to kitsch;The other is holding the banner of autonomy to avoid politics,and unwilling to become an economic vassal.Both are not only out of political,but also out of the realistic and the people.On the basis of the Gramsci's cultural hegemony,this attic is aimed to talk about the development of the literature of China.Since 1980s,a lot of books and thesis about Gramsci's cultural hegemony have appeared.They often talked about cultural hegemony,but most of them put emphasis on the study of cultural hegemony and politics,ignoring its theory basis and the study of cultural hegemony and literature.Gramsci's cultural hegemony is a whole system,its basis being practical philosophy,lying not only in its concrete manifestation of the political,but also on the national culture-the people's literature.This article talk about the theory of Gramsci's cultural hegemony as a whole.Apart from the common concern to the cultural hegemony on the implementation of mechanisms in the political, the article is also involved in the theoretical basis and the implementation in the culture for cultural hegemony in order to achieve a systematic study of Gramsci's cultural hegemony.Combine theory with the practical,this article is based on the development of Chinese literature itself,looking for the introduction the cultural hegemony to Chinese literature's development.This article is divided into four parts.The first part focuses on the theoretical basis for cultural hegemony-the practice of philosophy,talking about its theoritical source and characteristics;the second part is about the political implementation of cultural hegemony;the third part concerns the footing of cultural hegemony on the literature- the nation - the people literature's establishment and the characteristics;The fourth part is to explore the current development of Chinese literature on the basis of the whole Gramsci's cultural hegemony.
