Zhang Jingsheng Aesthetic Thought

Zhang Jingsheng, who was one of the three Republican Doctor, was a Famous Persons of the Chinese cultural idea circles in the nineteen twenties. The common people and the idea circles was to abandon the cultural sector because of the publication of his work "sexual history", so his unique heterogeneity of philosophy and aesthetic which is fresh for people was far away from someone cares, more than half a century-long history of silence.This paper studies Zhang Jingsheng's theory with the comparison method, and combines the macroscopic and microscopic view.And from the crosswise and longitudinal, internal research unifies with exterior research, with the fair and objective look to survey Zhang Jingsheng and his aesthetic thought, pay more attention to the formation of his aesthetic and philosophical thought, and strive to extract the idea of its aesthetic qualities.This paper can be divided into the following parts:Part one is the introduction. This part is to briefly introduce all Zhang Jingsheng's life and his mixed title. Carding The current situation of Zhang's theory in an allround way and the classification is going to be done. Moreover,I will point out the blind spot or the insufficiency, so as to propose my own research ideas and innovation on Zhang Jingsheng's aesthetics ideology.Part tow is to restore the real Zhang Jingsheng. Through the examination and identification of the evaluation for Zhang Jingsheng, I try to recourse the truth to restore a true and comprehensive Zhang Jingsheng. The vindication of his name is particularly important for research on Zhang Jingsheng and his aesthetic idea, which is the only way to acquire a fair objective evaluation and research on his aesthetic thought. Of course, meanwhile, I would also clearly pointed out that Zhang have been wronged not only by the result of "sexual history" also his own factors, pointing out the inadequacies of his academic operation.Part three is the formation of Zhang Jingsheng's aesthetics. Having a comprehensive understanding of the life of Zhang Jingsheng and examining his life experiences is a prerequisite for researching Zhang Jingsheng's aesthetic idea.Particularly, We can grasp the reasons of his theory formation through holding the academic-related experiences forming his aesthetic thought, which can tell us the shape of his personality and thinking of stereotypes. Therefore, the part is going to explore the trajectory formation and evolution of the aesthetic thought through five phases,such as his twice ravelling Europe, teaching in Peking University, sojourn at Shanghai,ect. Among them, the key lies in the former two.Part four analyzes the philosophy foundation of Zhang Jingsheng's aesthetics thought. Since philosophy is his aesthetic concept, vice versa, so this part investigates how his philosophy infiltrate and guide his aesthetics idea. The main idea of his philosophy consists of life philosophy,empirical philosophy, Deism and systems philosophy.Part five is the keystone and difficult points of this paper, tries to annlyze the content of Zhang Jingsheng's aesthetic thought. Zhang Jingsheng's aesthetic thought permeated with the idea of philosophy, and it is a polyhedron, aesthetic components are heterogeneous.Therefore, this part has been trying to avoid a relatively narrow field of research vision. With "the beautiful outlook on life" and "the beautiful Law on the organizations of society" as the main reference booklet, I will synthesize Zhang Jingsheng's other works as well as the research results of later generations in order to make a comprehensive interpretation of Zhang Jingsheng's aesthetic thought,such as the nature of the beauty,the foundation of the beauty, the sublimation of the beauty, the ideals of the beauty, the implementation of the beauty and the characteristics of the artistic beauty, trying refining and highlights its aesthetic qualities.The final part is conclusion.I will point out that the biggest difficulty to study Zhang's aesthetic idea is lack of information, especially the shortage of first-hand information. And I would indicaten the utopian idea of the aesthetic and inherent vitality of Zhang Jingsheng's aesthetic thought and found the significance of rereading Zhang Jingsheng's aesthetic idea in the new century to the construction of the current aesthetic.
