On LI Zhi's " Nature Is Beautiful " Literary Thought

Lizhi lived in middle and late Ming Dynasty, at the turning of our history development. Values of benefits and desire brought by the development of commodity economy conflicted traditional ethical values.Scholars with ethical twist under the alienation of mind twist happened.Faced with the hypocrisy of the social reality, Lizhi constructed literary and artistic ideology named"view nature as aesthetic standards",which objected hypocritical and fake Dao-theory. He clearly viewed nature as aesthetic standards, believed human sensory temperament, object to false, commended the people of desires, advocated aesthetic style of polarity and Criticed popular literature consciously. Literary and artistic ideology named"view nature as aesthetic standards"which have time characteristics meet demand of the time, and provide warnings for emotional scale of contemporary literature.This thesis view literary and artistic ideology named"view nature as aesthetic standards"as literary and artistic thought connotation of Lizhi, and view it as entrance for reaserch.Then I reaserch the social sychological roots and Individuals psychological reasons by the ways of"kowning the people and the world",and by the ways of"looking for the source".What I reaserch will help us know the social culture, social customs and scholars mentality of the middle and late Ming Dynasty.The thesis is primarily made up of three parts:Part one: The time characteristics of the points about"nature"proposed by Lizhi. Through analysising points about nature proposed by Laozi , Zhuangzi and WeiJin Dynasty,I propose the Characteristics of points about"nature"of Lizhi. These are admitation for natural emotion, commendation for the people desires, advocation for aesthetic atyle of polarity.Then we find the time background that made the literary thoughts of Lizhi.Part two: The main meaning of literary and artistic ideology named"view nature as aesthetic standards"by Lizhi.By the ways of fore opinions which are"writing by dampening the mood",concept of nature realm, concept of character and concept of advocating aesthetic style of polarity. We can see his anti-social courage, helpless for puesuing free soul.Then we can know the social culture, social customs and scholars mentality behind his .iterary thoughts.Part three: The historical significance and impact of literary and artistic ideology named"view nature as aesthetic standards"by Lizhi.Through analysising the impact on the late Ming Dynasty,Qing Dynasty and May 4th Literary Revolution,we can explore the resonance behind the mode of thinking caused by compacts between emotional and rational,then catch the modern humanism of enlightenment shines distributed from the literary thought of Lizhi. Finally,we need reflect on scale of express their feelings,for avoiding that Literal duty has fade away.
